Jessyca and Amahd had sentimental reasons to stick to their original wedding day. COVID would not detour their plans. So they decided to do a very small, but beautiful backyard wedding. It didn't lack beauty, class and elegance. Fast forward a year later, they wanted to experience this moment with their New Orleans friends and family along with their New York friends who have turned family. It was a great decision. Here are some highlights of both occasions. It was an amazing experience and a longtime coming for the couple. Love always wins.

Both Jessyca and Ahmad are from New Orleans, but destiny brought them together miles away in New York City. While Jessyca was working in fashion, Ahmad was visiting the city. They met and she showed him around, and he found any excuse to need a tour 😆. He knew he had to come back just to be in her presence. They dated and were engaged in New York and decided to get married in New Orleans with their family and friends.

Their wedding was at the beginning of the pandemic. They planned on having a huge celebration with family and friends. Some would have looked at having to change plans as a let down, but they had a beautiful ceremony with their close family and friends at a private family residence. It didn’t lack in love, beauty, and quality. The backdrop of the bayou and the natural soundtrack of the birds, trees, and nature all together was so calming, and could never be replicated. It was perfect!

The ceremony ended with a toast, music, and a fashion shoot for the two of them. They played second-line music on their speakers and danced to end their evening as the sunset.
